We are thrilled to share some smaller size barrels originally from the highly sort after Sherry Triangle coopered at the Callington Mill Cooperage in Tasmania and filled with Callington Mill Single Malt Whisky for over 3-4+ years. 1st Life:
These casks are coopered from extremely unique, authentic and highly sought after ex-Oloroso Sherry (from the Sherry Triangle, Spain). Oloroso Sherry is a rich, oxidized style of wine that is made in Andalucia, in southern Spain. It is known for its nutty, caramelized characteristics.
2nd Life:
These barrels were then coopered down to 30L shaved and charred by Australia’s own Tasmanian Tiger Cooperage in Pontville, Tasmania. These barrels have held Callington Mill finest Single Malt Whisky for over 3-4+ years.
Recently disgorged, these barrels smell devine with the remnants of the finest well rested Tasmanian Single Malt Whisky and subtle overtones of Oloroso Sherry from Andalucia, Spain.
3rd Life:
These barrels are now looking for their 3rd home. Our Search is Your Satisfaction!

These barrels have spent their 1st life in the Sherry Triangle, Spain at premium wineries then onto one of Australia’s most premium craft whisky distilleries. Their logos are still on the barrels and under no circumstances are customers allowed to leverage or use the former whisky distillers name in the marketing of their own beverages should you be a commercial brewer or distiller who is keen to use their barrels. By all means you are allowed store your beer or spirit in these barrels and give them a generous 2nd life and your allowed to market the story but you are NOT ALLOWED to mention any brand(s) formerly housed in these wonderful oak barrels without the brand owners express permission.
